Over the last month we have worked very hard on Slap A Story. We have added new features, optimized performance and made the site slicker, more responsive and a lot more user friendly. We have listened to your feedback and tried to create something truly special. We wish to thank all users of Slap A Story for writing stories, reading, voting, sending us feedback and being so enthusiastic about our project.
Below is a short list of changes that we have made to Slap A Story:
- You can now add a picture and a mini bio (and a url to your blog) to your profile. These are all publicly accessible and will help you build up your name and profile.
- Improved story styling. Long stories are automatically split into multiple pages.
- Easier way to find stories for a given writer and see who voted for and liked them.
- Help section with tutorials and FAQs.
- News section to help the community know about latest changes.
- Incoming stories RSS feed
- Better integration with social sites such as Digg, Reddit and Facebook.
- Better, more streamlined, user interface and design.
- Optimized performance
- Miscellaneous bug fixes
Sincerely yours,
the Slap A Story team.

Over the last couple month we have worked very hard on Slap A Story. We have listened to you - the writers and th readers and tried to develop the needed features to make Slap A Story a unique, user friendly experience for our communitee. So below is an outline of new features.
- We have dropped support for IE6 - reason being that we only have one developer (me :>) and not enough time to fix all the bugs that plague Internet explorer 6, please update to IE7 or download Firefox.
- A new login design - allowing you to sign in and stay in the same page.
- You can now remove your comments and stories in case you made a typo or doubled up on stories
- A New notify tab in profiles - allows you to switch off email notifications for comments and newsletters
- Various user interfaces fixes and improvements to make the site more enjoyable to read and navigate.
Sincerely yours,
the Slap A Story team.
