"What poor soul has the misfortune of interrupting my feeding?" asked Sebastion sniffing. He was on his stance, ready to attack with great acceleration as soon as he spots the source on this misty corner of the town.
"The one who shares your thirst, and your curse", said the stranger. Sebastion looked both ways, but he had a gut feeling that there was something in front of him.
"Ahh a voice from the past hmm?" said Sebastion in a non-threatening voice. He lowered his stance, his left arm on his hip and his right arm wiping the blood off his face.
"Come out, Kain!" yelled out Sebastion.
A dark hooded figure manifested in front of Sebastion. Kain was cloaked in the mist, it is one of his powers.
"It is I, Kain" said Kain. He opened his ruby colored lips and exhaled a breath. Kain was wearing dark grey robes trimmed with iron.
"So the rumors are true mmm? Kain walks again" said Sebastion smiling. Both vampires bowed to each other.
Kain glanced at the carcass of the woman whose remaining blood still sprouting.
"Have you not have any respect?" said Kain in a cold voice. Kain pointed at the woman then gestured a questioning hand sign.
Sebastion studied Kains half covered face, hooded by his cloak.
"We have no honor in life, we have no honor after death" said Sebastion pointing at the woman's torn body.
"What is the purpose of this unexpected meeting? It has been four centuries, the last time I saw you, you were defeated by the-" Sebastion was enfeebled by the mist as his voice was too.
"Watch your tongue creature" said Kain walking towards Sebastion. He laid a hand on Sebastion's armored shoulders. Sebastion felt a tingling vibration coming from Kain's hand.
"I am looking for Valraven, my champion" stated Kain.
Sebastion's voice was restored when Kain let go of him. Sebastion almost fell but he was quick on his feet. The spell numbed his legs.
"You have been weakend by your slumber, yet your powers are still quite formidable" said Sebastion as he tightened his Mithril Hauberk. "I am afraid he has sided himself with our foes..." answered Sebastion with a sad expression.
"Ahh" said Kain walking away from Sebastion. Kain pulled up his sleeves. His arms tainted with runes came forth. Many feet broke the calm atmosphere of the mist and Kain sensed this.
Sebastion understood Kain's movements. His long vampiric fingernails fletched and itched to cut. The guards were here! The guards came like ants. They wore hard gilded leather bodies, in the middle was a white cross sign sawed in. The moon shining upon the hard gilded leather laminated the area. Red eyes glowed under their iron full helms that are square shaped; it was the effect on the buff spell "Burst of strength". These were no normal guards, these were the elite guards that only guard the city at night. The clerics were not far behind. The clerics wore a long mystic infinity robe set that are gold and white colored. The robe top looked like a suit. Their helms made of iron and mountain goat horns. The clerics stole this helm trend from the far-seers of the north who were perished along time ago. They already summoned a geyser titan. Its body is like a waterfall. Water splashed among the sidewalk. The titan roared like the sound of waves crashing when it saw Kain and Sebastion. Its boiling cold aura chilled the midnight air. The guards formed their line and drew out their iron hastas. The clerics drew in the cold air, it was a buff. Then they whispered a spell, pointed their battle-staff's at Kain and released a massive Fireball at Kain. The sound was like smelting coal and iron in a blast furnace.
Sebastion, a Scaramouch in battle back flipped and jumped on the nearest roof of a building.
It was only a second until the impact. Kain did not move, he revealed his head. The fireball hit Kain, the radiance blinded Sebastion. The sound of the explosion echoed in the town. Sebastion opened his eyes and was stunned to see Kain still standing. Kain's chaos tiara protected him, the chaos tiara glowed and vibrated on the top of Kain's head. It made a cosmic shield. Around Kain was dark glittering miasma, a chemical reaction to the fireball and the shield. What substance is this shield made of? Who knows.
When Kain's Cosmic Shield glittered away, and the smoke from the blast carried away by the wind. The geyser titan charged towards Kain like a tidal wave. Half-way, Kain spat out an unidentified liquid. It was a summoning. The liquid transformed into a obsidian golem. The obsidian golem was like a rock, it had no color, and in some certain body parts, lave flowed. The geyser titan stopped on its tracks, its wave-like legs malformed as if hit by a back lash wave. The geyser titan raised its right hand. The obsidian golem saw this attack and inflated its chest with air. The geyser titan warped into a sphere, it flung itself at the golem, but the geyser titan was rended by the golem's yell. The golems yell had immense heat that it evaporated the geyser titan. Water splashed everywhere. Kain jumped back. He was afraid to get hit by it for it would burn him. Sebastion flinched even though the water couldn't touch him from where he was.
The formation of the guards was vibrating with fear, it was fear like they have never known before. The clerics casted many spells on the golem, but the golem was immune to all spells.
The golem was staring at its enemy with empty eyes. It charged towards them, breaking the formation. The golem smites the first row like a row of pins. The guard's iron hastas designed to puncture a vampire's heart, were no match against the golem. The last row of the formation threw their hasta like a javelin but it was deflected by the golem's diamond like blade mail skin. No weapon or spell can take down this beast. This beast is the materialization of the steel of legends. Those alive, ran away. The threat was out matched by the golem's insane ferocity and Kain's Clarity of Thought. The sound of the explosion, and the sound of the screaming yells attracted more guards. A hero would come, Kain and Sebastion could easily take out a hero but with the clerics on the side protecting the hero, it would take a very long time to kill them.
The golem was on a leash. It stopped when Kain touched his talisman of fury. Kain's arms infested with runes left mini light trails in the air while casting a teleportation spell. A void of cinder-blocks formed around him, sucking him in as he said his last words to Sebastion, "A token of friendship".
The void of cinder-blocks dissipated in the air. Then the golem dwindled away into a circlet.
Sebastion stood up, his mithril armor set made a clanking sound. He jumped and glided towards the item. He picked it up with great care, and wore it on his right thumb covered by a silver gauntlet.
"Crazy night this is" said Sebastion in a sarcastic tone as he jumped among the building walls to continue his feast on this sinister night even though he and Kain alerted the guards.
