My girlfriend
I remember the first time i saw her, two years ago. She was snuggled up neatly in her cardboard box. Her name was Nokia. Her curvy design, creamy complexion and her voice enchanted me. She was not so appealing to other guys, but she was the most beautiful thing i had ever seen. I used to spend so much time with her, that my mother thought that i finally found that special someone she thought i would never meet.
The first few months of our relationship went on smoothly. I typed, received and forwarded a lot of messages. Most of them were "ILU" messages to another girl, but Nokia did not mind at all. She was very forgiving and patient with me.
Then happened the Washing Machine Incident. Well, you can guess what happened...it happens to couples like us all the time. All in all, she ditched me. This, unfortunately took place before my blasted board exams. English, maths, science, history geography... I don't know how i survived all those weeks without her. She was my life support. The silver lining on the darkest of nights.
The boards were over, and I was not with my girlfriend. Sure, I had fun with other ones, i even went on few dates with a Samsung, Motorola, LG even a Blackberry. But no one equalled her.
After the results, I met her again. She had changed a lot! She had lost weight and had adopted a new shape. She even threw away all her buttons, except for three of them. I fell in love with her again.
Turns out, she had forgiven me for the Washing Machine Incident, saying that mistakes happen all the time. No big deal. I told her that she would be the only one in my life. And never would i let a water molecule near her. Everything was back to normal again.
Until yesterday. Yesterday, i went out to Korum with some of my friends. Big mistake. I met HER in iStore. The beauty of my dreams. The one princess that stands on the other side of the bridge, waiting for me with her arms open. She told me that her name was iPhone 4.
It was love at first sight all over again. One look, and I saw that Nokia was a big mistake. iPhone 4 was the only one for me. All the qualities that I had tried to install in Nokia, she had inbuilt. She also is smarter and more elegant.
I have not yet told Nokia about her. I am afraid that she will hang up or shut down. I am confused right now. I'm going to make a run for it. As they say, if you don't have an iPhone, you don't have an iPhone.

That as genuinely hilarious. What brilliant personification!! The whole way through as well, each bit as thorough as the last, wonderful, just wonderful. Even though I'm not a fan of your new found love ;)
