Revenge Will Be Mine- Part. 1
" Damn you, Kenny," I curse.
I've wash off almost all the blood off my back, when the bolt unlocks.
' Round two,' I think bracing myself to see Micheal burst through the door with a raged look on his face. Instead Mary-Alice comes in with wide eyes as she takes in my slightly bloodied back. I quickly fix my ears and hands to make them look human and make sure my tail is no longer there.
" Abbey! What happened?!" she yells running towrd me.
I give her a look and watch as she shakes her head with disbelieving eyes.
" No, no they wouldn't do this," she says takng my shirt and started to finish cleaning my back.
I sigh, not wanting to start the same discussion we've had for about two years now. I stay silent as she finishes making me look presentable for school. She leaves to go to her room and comes back with a green turtleneck sweater for me to wear.
" Get ready and then come down for breakfast," Alice says handing me the sweater.
I snort at the thought of eating, but when I see her face I give her a small smile and nod my head. She seems pleased with this and skips to wherever she goes in the morning. I sit there, waiting for Micheal to come in for his daily "talks" with me. I only have to wait five minutes before he charges in, yelling.
" Why the hell is this door opened?!" Micheal yells after slamming said door.
" My sister came to check up on me," I said biting back any witty remarks.
He narrows his eyes and stares at me. I stare right back, knowing Alice will be calling for us to come down to eat. Right on cue she calls for us, only she opens the door when she does.
" It's time for breakfast," she chirps, " and was that you guys yelling?"
Micheal quickly runs to her side, wrapping an arm around her shoulders," Ofcourse not sweetie, that must have been the neighbors."
I let out a laugh, imediately receiving a glare from him.
" I was just telling Abby to come down to eat, when she informed me she wasn't hungry," he tells her smirking at me
" Again?! But Abbey, you haven't eaten for a week," Alice crys. She then became furious, " Well I don't care if I have to force it down your throat, you're eating right now."
She grabs my arm and pulls me throught the house to the dinning room. I stare amazed as I see parts of the mansion I've never seen, since I've only been in the foyer to pretend we are a happy famliy and in Mary-Alice's room to climb out her window. When we get to the dinning room, Kenny is already sitting there. He glares when he sees me, but quickly stops when he sees Alice.
" Sit," Alice orders me and goes to make my plate.
Micheal takes his place at the head of the table, he and Kenny glaring their hardest at me. When they're sure Alice couldn't hear, they hissed out vile things.
" You better enjoy this, bitch, because when you get back to your room, I'm going to make sure you never pull a stunt like this ever again," Micheal threatened.
He is ready to say more, when Mary-Alice whooshes in and places a moutain of food infront of me.
" Now you're not leaving until that plate is completely cleared," Alice says pressing a fork in my hand.
" I can't eat all this!" I shriek, stomach growling at thought off being filled.
Alice would have none of that, " Either you do it or I do."
I sigh and start eating. I'm not even a quarter a way through when my stomach can't take anymore. Smiling at my sedated face, she puts up my plate and leaves to finish getting ready for school. I close my eyes, but a slap to the face gets them open.
I look up to see the scowls of both Kenny and Micheal looking down at me.
" Remember what I said," Micheal says before he leaves the room.
That's Kenny cue to punch my stomach and slams me on the table.
" Unfortunately I can't do more because I must leave early today, so I guess you'll get a break this morning but just wait until you come home," he says in my ear.
I stay there even as I hear Mary-Alice coming down the stairs.
" Come on Abbey, the bus will be here any second," she says.
I get off the table, wincing but give her a reassuring smile. We walk out the door and to the bus stop. As we board the bus, we part our seperate ways. Alices goes to the very back with the cheerleaders and jocks and I stay at the front and start to read.
" Move over Snyder," a boy says.
I look up to see Sky standing there, I scoot over and gasp exaggeratedly when I see him wearing his glasses. He rolls his eyes just as exaggeratedly and sits down.
" Choke you?" he asks once the bus was too loud for anyone to hear. I stay silent, since it wasn't a question., but I flinch though when he pulls the collar down to reveal the bruises.
" Damn," he says letting go.
I just nod, and look around to make sure no one else saw. He shakes his head and opens his mouth to talk but I beat him to it.
" Please Sky, I know what your going to say and I know, but if I'm not around to be their punching bag, then Mary-Alice will have to be and we both know she can't handle this," I say.
" But what about you, Abbey. Do you think she would want you to go through this?" Sky counters.
I laugh. " Sky, I've tried to tell her, but with the way they treat her like royalty she refuses to believe that they would hurt me."
Sky curses under his breath, " I just don't understand why you and not her."
I look at him as if he's stupid. Anyone would see why, Mary-Alice and I are as different as can be. Mary-Alice is the pride jewel of our family. She is 6 ft, with an oval face surrounded by a halo of pure white hair. Her eyes are a dark grey and freckles decorate her face, collected together on her cheeks. She has milky white skin and is as delicate as a flower. She is the head cheerleader but was still down to Earth. Alice can have everyone wrapped around her finger but she just isn't that type of person. She's the type of girl that would send you a get well card if you just had a cold. I'm the black sheep. I just reached 5 ft, have pale skin but with a healthy glow around it. My deep red hair is always down and tangled around my heart shaped face. My eyes are a dark purple that most people think are black, with a hint of white in them. I'm a silent artist and keep to myself. The friends I do have are kept at a distance, behind a wall except for Sky, who forced the wall down and learned of my pain. I almost hit him when he suggests that it's because I'm younger, but the screech of the bus threw me to the seat making me hiss in pain.
' I can't believe I haven't healed yet,' I think as I make my way off the bus and to my locker.
It wasn't until my second that an hit me. We were watching ' The Tale of Two Cites' and the French citizens had just thrown their king. I started to write a note and passed it to Sky.
' You know what that scene just made me think of?' i wrote.
' What?' he asked.
' I might be able to get revenge on Micheal and Kenny and make sure they don't hurt me or Alice, ' I write. ' And find out about my parents,' I think.
' How are you going to do that?' he writes back.
' Not me, us!' I pass to him.
He draws a shocked face and writes, ' You really want my help?'
' I'm going to need it with the plan I have,' I write to him and give him an evil smile.
