Summer sets sadly, So sob silently.
Poem
Summer sets sadly,
So sob silently.
You might say winter is delightful,
You might say summer is distasteful,
But I say otherwise,
I say summer is nice.
So I say give me summer,
The time when the cats purr.
The time when the dogs bark,
And the children play in the park.
The time when horses eat their hay,
And the time when there is the longest day.
Winter you say is enjoyable,
I know you’re not telling a fable,
But I say winter is bitter cold,
And is the time when your house gets mold.
So I say again,
With a lot of pain,
Summer sets sadly,
So sob silently.
