"Hey, hold on,” said Elisa as she stopped the elevator from closing. " OoHh hey girl what's up?" said her best friend Sharon. (Sharon is Elisa's best friend & neighbor. She is 21 years old and she's a nurse at Prinston State Hospital. Also a very very big flirt.) "Hey, I have something for you in my apartment.. your umm ... Paramore albums and your twilight book.. if you wanna come get them now" "Yea thanks....so how'd you like the twilight book?" "Ohh thanks for lending it to me, it was amazing" "yea sure no problem"

The elevator stopped and they both got out on the 23rd floor. Elisa took her keys out of her bag and opened the door. As soon as Sharon stepped into the house she said "Damd it's really quiet in here, Where's Jaylin?" " He's with Mike,” said Elisa as she put all her stuff down and throws herself on the couch. "OoHh baby daddy trouble huh?" Sharon joked. " Ok no, there’s no trouble, me and Mike were.. it's ... Complicated" Elisa laughs as she is falling asleep on the very comfortable yet old couch. Sharon, not noticing that she is falling asleep, says "so when's he coming back?" Elisa, although already half asleep, looks over at the clock, 3:23 p.m. She gets up from the couch and says, "actually he's suppose to be here in a few minutes. Mike has to go to a meeting at 4 so he's gonna drop Jay off at 3:30” after about a minute of silence Elisa says “and talking about the little munchkin" Right then Jaylin walk's into the house screaming "mommy, mommy, mommy" and jumps into Elisa's arms. "Hey .. what's with you today?" She says laughing. Then Mike walks into notice and says " Hey, yea sorry, we uhh went to get some ice-cream before I had to bring him back. He might be a little hyper." "Umm alittle?" Elisa says joking. Mike laughed with her. (Mike is Jaylin's dad. He's an Executive producer and he lives in New Jersey. Far, far away from Jaylin and Elisa.) Right before Elisa started drooling over how buff Mike has become and how hot he looks in the particular shirt he's wearing, Jaylin say "daddy can you stay for dinner tonight? please please please?"

Mike takes Jaylin From Elisa's arms and says, "I would if I could buddy, really but I just don’t have time, I got to go to a meeting. I’m sorry" " it's ok .. I know you’re busy. I’ll see next weekend daddy." Jaylin says with a really really sad baby face. As Jaylin starts to walk away Mike sighs and says “ok .. umm .. I’ll make you a deal .. I got to go to a meeting right now and I won’t make it for dinner.. but if I hurry I can probably make it in time for dessert. And I’ll stay until you fall asleep .." Jaylin smiled " But .. Only if mommy lets me stay." mike continued then him and Jaylin both looked up at Elisa with puppy dogfaces. Elisa says "Ok ..sure why not .." alright" says Jaylin excitedly "But just promise you guys wont make a mess" At the same time, both Jaylin and Mike say "Uhuh whatever" then Mike looks at the clock, 4:08 p.m. "Oh shi..damd I g2g.” Mike corrects himself before he says a word he does not want Jaylin hearing. He kisses Jaylin's forehead and then walks over to the door , Elisa following him says" you guys are gonna make a mess aren’t you?" "OoHh yea, big one, huge." they both laugh. Then Mike says " ii I really got to go. I’m already gonna be late' " he kisses Elisa on her forehead then puts his forehead on her and says very softly "Take care of yourself ok, ill see you later. “All Elisa did was nod. That’s all she could do, she was so paralyzed by what he did, even though he does it every time he comes over. She could still never get used to it. Being so close to his nice, strong, colon-wearing body always made her shiver, but, in a really really good way.

About an hour later, Mike is gone and Jaylin is doing his homework. Elisa is cooking dinner and Sharon is still there. Sharon then asks "is your fine, sexy baby daddy single?" Elisa looks back with half of a smile and then sighs. “Emphasis on the fine and sexy.. Dam I might hate the truck we ride everyday but UuHh I definitely wouldn’t mind ridin' that" Sharon continues and she points at the picture of Mike and Jaylin on the counter next to her. " Oh god ... bad picture" Elisa replies talking about the image she just got in her head where Sharon is "riding" Mike. Sharon looks at Elisa's expression and smiles then she says "well thank for answering my question" "Oohh sorry .. .. but ill be sure to ask him" Elisa said sarcastically. " There, right there... by the facial expression u gave earlier and the answer you just gave right now its so obvious. "well can you explain to me what's obvious to you cause uhh I cant see it" " Eli you’re totally still in love with him" "what!!! no I’m not "ok so maybe you don’t wanna admit it but you know it's true. i mean the way you look whenever anyone mentions his name, the way your smile sparkles every time he walks in the door. Eli you love him and you know it, so why wont you just admit it?" "No .. because contraire to what you may think I’m not still in love with him." "You know what it's hopeless trying to .." Before Sharon could finish Elisa cut her off and said " Ok changing the subject .. you stayin' for dinner?" "would if I could but I cant so i wont g2g .. goin’ shopping with Ayme.. Bye. ( Ayme is their other neighbor and also the 3rd musketeer, her and Sharon are almost always shopping together) "of course should of known bye." As soon as Sharon opened the door to leave, Ayme is standing in front of the door and says "Hey Elisa is that your boy toy Jason that left here like an hour ago?" Before Elisa said anything Sharon said " No, that's her other boy toy Mike, who she says she's not in love with even though it's obvious she is, ok were leaving." Elisa didn't say anything but not because she knew it was true but because they were already all the way down the hall before Elisa could open her mouth. As she was closing the door she heard Ayme say " he was pretty cute wait did he get buffer" and then Sharon replied " Ohh definitely and way cuter too.. Oh Elisa is so lucky" "hell yea" Elisa closed the door, went back into the kitchen and kept on cooking.

Hey momma .. what you making for dinner?? " you’re favorite ... .macaroni and cheese" "yes .. finally" Elisa brought the food to the table and they both ate. They talked about his school, TV shows, movies that they have watched together, but that night they talked mostly about Jeisleen, the girl Jaylin has a crush on in school. Right after Jaylin said “I’m finished" Mike came walking in with a very suspicious brown paper bag. 'Hey daddy .. what's in the bag?" ' Nothing .. only the best dessert ever." "Chocolate ice-cream with Oreo’s surrounding it, drizzled with chocolate syrup.." then Mike joined him and said "With wiped cream on top." Jaylin ran over to him and grabbed the bag then ran into the kitchen to grab a spoon." you just love to spoil the kid don't you?" Elisa said "Hell yea" says Mike he kisses her on her forehead again, "there goes that shiver again" Elisa said softly, but not soft enough. "What?" said Mike "OoHh nothing ..umm what??" Elsa fumbled. Then Jaylin runs over to the couch and starts jumping. (the kitchen and the living room are connected. Elisa wanted it like that so she could keep an eye on Jaylin when she was cooking dinner.. or making dinner .. she can't cook. Mike then runs toward the back of the couch and jumps over the cushions then lands on his side of the couch and says " so what's it gonna be.. monster trucks or WWE?" "WWE .. definitely" Jaylin says like if there's no contest. " How can you watch that, i mean it's a fight between to guys who are by the way totally faking it just for entertainment." Elisa complains. "Yea.. that's umm kinda’ the whole point" Mike points out. Elisa does everything she can to avoid watching wrestling. She washes all the dishes and starts washing the clothing left in Jaylin's drawers, after that she does the daily crossword on the newspaper. Then after there is nothing left for her to d, she goes to the couch and sits next to Mike. One of the guys gets slammed onto the floor. "OoHh that look like it hurt" Mike and Jaylin both looked at her at the same time. Neither of them noticed she had sat with them. Mike started to say something but Elisa shushed him, she was way to interested in the fake fighting on the screen.

After about hour and a half, Cena won and Elisa realized that wrestling wasn't such a bad sport after all. "that was actually really ...entertaining." "yea well umm" Mike says "that’s kinda the whole point." Jaylin yawned and Elisa looked at the clock, 12:47 a.m. "OoHh dam, it's late UuMm I think it's time to get Jaylin in bed" "Yea umm i better go then." Mike says trying to ac fine so Elisa wouldn't notice the sadness in his voice. They both look back at Jaylin but he was already sleeping. "Dam.. he doesn’t waist any time does he?" Mike asked still sad. 'Yea that happens alot. Umm u should see in the streets when were walking and he's tired he'll just fall asleep standing up and I’ll end up carrying him everywhere we go." Elisa says with half a smile. " Well i got see that" he says smiling then the smile goes away and he continues "But next time." He goes over to Jaylin and kisses him on the forehead, then he whispers "I'll see you soon SuPpErMaN. I love you." Elisa notices the look again and she can't help but smile. Mike then comes over to Elisa kisses her, on the cheek this time, though she still shivered, and whispers to her "I'll be back soon .. Later pretty girl." He grabs his jacket from the couch and heads towards the door. "dam" Elisa says very softly, then in a bigger tone she says " Mike wait' she takes a big breathe and continues "Umm I was thinkin' maybe if u wanted that umm maybe you could tuck Jaylin in .. I mean if u wanted I guess." Mike says, very stunned "Yea that .. that would be awesome but ... isn't that like your thing .. I mean you do it every night and its" Elisa interrupted and said " No it’s ok .. you can do it .. I mean I got 2 wash the dishes anyways and a whole bunch of other thing to do too, it's cool.. go" Elisa says hoping that he wouldn't realize the empty sink. "Thanks" Mike says. He puts his jacket on the couch again and then goes and picks Jaylin up and carries him to his room. As he puts Jaylin in his bed and pulls the covers over him, Jaylin wakes up and says " you’re still here" "yea .. I told you , I’d be here till you fall asleep.” Mike says as he walks over to the door and turns the light switch off. before he could walk out the room Jaylin says " Daddy,' "what’s up superman?' "can you tell me a story?" "yea sure.. no problem.." Mike walks over and sits on the edge of Jaylin's bed. Then he begins "One upon a time there was a Nice, handsome prince named Jaylin..."

After about an hour Elisa is asleep. But she i woken up by the song 'Because you live' by Jesse McCartney. It's Mike's cell phone. Elisa picks it up and says "Hello" in a rough voice. Then the voice on the other side said " hey, who are you?" "umm I’m Elisa, Umm Elisa Carter. Umm who are you?" " I’m Jennifer, I’m Mike's girlfriend, Ok hold up you’re Elisa, Mike's Elisa, Jaylin's mom Elisa" "Yea .." "Wait is he still there?? I thought he was suppose to leave a few hours ago." " Oohh Yea he went to get Jaylin into bed and then .. " there was about a few minutes of silence and then Jennifer says "and then..??' " Oohh yea um .. i kinda hell asleep after that ..sorry.' Elisa said, even though she really didn't mean it. Then Jennifer says "Umm can you find him.. put him on please??" "Yea umm hold up.." She gets up, with the phone in her hand, and walks into Jaylin's room. Both Jaylin and Mike are asleep. Elisa tapes Mike on the shoulder and wakes him up. Elisa whispers "Hey um your girl's on the phone." "what?" "your girl's on the phone.. you feel asleep.. it's late she got worried i guess" Elisa hands him the cell phone. He walks out off Jaylin's room but Elisa stays with Jaylin, still sleeping , and carefully gets into his bed. After the phone call, Mike puts his jacket on and walks into Jaylin's room to tell Elisa that he's leaving. But when he walks in, she's sleeping already. He laughs to himself and says very softly "like mother like son" he kisses her on the forehead and leaves the apartment.

Elisa was awakened again, but this time as a door knock. "great .. can't I ever get to sleep? dam" Elisa says as she gets up from bed and walks over and opens the door. "Hey" Mike says again. "hey what are you doing back?" "Umm it's kinda a long story.. umm can I come in?" "OohH yea umm come on in.' They both go and sit on the couch. " So what happened?" "ok well um I was driving home and the bridge was closed .. umm some worker told me that 2 cars crashed which made 4more cars crash and one of the cars had like an atomic bomb or something and it all the cars and the bridge exploded and no one can pass for the next 2 months." "ooh dam." "yea and now i got to find a place to stay for 2 months when other then you guys .. I don’t really know anyone around here ... great." Elisa thought it over a million times, she knew it was gonna be a bad Yet she still went along and said "well you could stay here if you want." "really? umm thanks .. that’s .. thanks." "yea but um we don't really hve any extra beds so you’re gonna have to sleep in my bed i guess." "Umm ok. " "ok then" Elisa goes to her bed and Mike enters the bathroom. Elisa is thinking about all the possible ways this could go utterly and completely wrong.. and there's ALOT of ways this could go wrong, but before she could count all of the way, Mike walks into the room, wearing only boxers, and gets into bed. And right at that second, Elisa realizes that this is NOT going to go the ways she planned ..... it’s going to go way way WAY worse.
