Chapter 1- The Worst Luck= It all started with Miss Kanh Tran. She is pretty much your average 14 yr. old girl in regular high school as a freshman. Good friends, average grades, normal hobbies, like any other girl. But her friends, Darcy and Lizzy don't think she is a normal girl. After all the times they have been together, Kanh is always near bad things. Many things happen near her, car accidents, murders, natural accidents, and more. To Kanh's other friends, Steve & Jack, they think differently. Steve doesn't seem to notice this is thinks she is just a pretty good kid, Jack thinks it is just a coincident things happen like that. Darcy thinks it's unusual to be too coincident. But Darcy and Lizzy believe she may have bad luck. Yeah might be a bunch of mumble jumble, but hey they are just saying that at the momentNow then let's start in on January 25, 2010 in the early morning in Nevada, can‘t say the city. Miss Kanh is getting ready for school. She has her uniform on and all her books ready in her arms. Her school was called Westly Brooks High School. To her friends, it pretty much sucks there. To Kanh, she could care less. Kanh goes to school by car with her brother. Once he had dropped her off, she was now within school grounds. Usually students should have eaten breakfast for a healthy meal. But Kanh never does eat breakfast. So some students go eat breakfast at home, some at school. The students would go to the gym and wait till the school bell rings for homeroom. The gym was packed, but she could find Darcy easily and Steve talking to Jack. It's pretty much same old same old. Darcy and Kanh would have a short conversation, well about random things. Lizzy comes in later then, Then the school bell rang, already for home room. Home room was boring, just stay for 10 minutes and go to 1st period. Well time went by. Kanh had Geometry; Darcy had Spanish, Lizzy with History, and Jack & Steve in Latin. They were separated, but in 2nd period, they would all go to gym They had different teacher, but they were able to hang out with each other. I mean, there are really only four gym teachers. So then, it was free choice today and students get to do whatever they want, as long as it is active like, you know, walking really. The group would actually get together and walk around the courtyard and just, well talk. But today, it's going to be different.While just standing in the courtyard at the moment, a huge gust of wind came, circling them. Then a dark ring appeared, surrounding them. It was multi-colored, well in dark colors. For some reason, other students in gym didn't seem to notice it. Each person was dragged into the ground, being almost eaten by the dark ring. After they were all dragged down under, the ring disappeared, shrinking until it became nothing. This maybe the worst luck for these teens.
Chapter 2- Attack of the Dolls= Back with the kids, they find themselves laying on the ground, in the dark. Darcy was the first person get up. It appeared like she was in complete darkness, once her eyes started to adjust into the dark, things become more visible. The ground felt like soft grass, but it was totally dull in gray color. There were a couple of piles of junk and torn up buildings around, possibly like ruins. What kind of place is she in? After a while, everyone awaken. They too were confused. Questions were running through their minds. The main question in their mind was, "Why me?" You would ask yourself that question wouldn't you? Even though they cannot think of an answer, they have to know what kind of place they are in. Jack stayed in place, standing around, looking out at far distances. Steve went towards one of the torn up buildings, to understand what it might be. What's strange is, I that it wasn't standing like a normal building should have, and it was standing on one of its corner. As for the girls, they started rummaging through one of the piles of junk. They mostly found toy-like objects. Lizzy finds an odd looking doll. Its cheeks were rosy, a bit chubby and wore a sailor suit. She takes a good look at it, until it started moving. The doll's eyes moved and stared at Lizzy. Then it lunged into her face, she couldn't see and screamed in terror. Darcy heard it and saw the doll. Darcy came to her and pulled the doll off of her face. Kanh was hiding behind the pile, frightened. Darcy threw the doll far away, that doll really had a tight grip on Lizzy's face. Finally Steve and Jack were able to hear that scream and quickly ran towards the girls. Darcy kept her eyes on the doll, and it moved again. Now it was standing, laughing and chuckling. It then ran off and echoes of its laughter were heard. Suddenly a pebble was thrown at Steve on his head. Another doll was shown, on top of the pile of toy-like objects. It had the same features as the other one, but it had a doctor’s outfit. Kanh ran away from the pile and to the group. The pile that the doll was on had glowing red dots on it. They were not dots, those were eyes. Dolls appeared and came out of the pilings. Many of them were really torn up, dirty, and wasted. They surrounded the group so they cannot escape. Jack spotted a pole on the ground by instincts; he grabbed it and lashed through the dolls, throwing them off. It was not like a weapon, but it was useful. Jack was able to make a path and the others took that as a sign to go through it. Jack kept defending them and after going at a good distance, they ran off. The dolls were running too, but not as fast as the humans are. They suddenly stopped in their tracks, and watched the humans run off from a distance. However they made a squeaky laughter. Yeah that does seem frightening. For those that think it is not scary, well it depends on the situation, and your fear...
Chapter 3- You're Under Arrest!= Even though the dolls were no longer in sight, they were still frightened. That was when clumsy Jack bumped into a figure. With a better look, he sees a man, wearing an all white suit and was holding a cane. The ironic thing about it is that he is an albino so he had pale skin and pure, snow white hair. Also the clothes he was wearing look extremely old fashioned. He looked like in his mid-twenties or in his late twenties. He looked back at Steve with no interest, until he laid eyes on Kanh. His expression changed and was wide-eyed. He approached her and forcefully grabbed her shoulder, tightly. Lizzy was surprised and yelled at the man to let her go. He did not listen to her and told Kanh, "You're under arrest!" Everyone else was in shock yet confused. Was he crazy? Steve went between Kanh and the man and shoved him off of her. Steve made sure the man didn't get close to Kanh. He asks the man what he wants with her. He simply says is that she has done something that is so sinful. Even so, the others can't understand his explanation. The man got aggravated and yelled, “I’ve been looking for that brat for 115 years and nothing is going to stop me now that I have found it!” Great now he really sounds like a mad man. I mean 115 years? Yeah that is crazy. “Then what did Kanh do that is bad?!” asked Jack “Kanh? Heh, looks like you don’t know what’s behind that face” said the man. He then swiftly moved left arm in the air and everyone, except Kanh and himself, was glided along the ground, away from them. Kanh backed away and had a surprised look on her face. The man took his cane and hit Kanh at her chest (specifically the heart), with the end of his cane. From the impact, a faded-like person came out of Kanh’s body. The person looked like a ghost, but became more, well solid. It was a girl, no older than 16 in a gothic, Lolita dress. She was slammed onto a wall and sat on the ground from the impact of the wall. Then Kanh’s body began to fall to the ground, but slowly. Then, as it does so, the body disintegrates into black shards and it floated up in the air. Soon, there was no body.“Well hello there, we finally meet” said the man.
Chapter 4- It’s a Nightmare!= So, the body disintegrated and a girl came out of Kanh’s body. The others were astounded by this. Does Kanh have a second body or something? Even so, what is with the man? He had a smirk on his face, and did he kill Kanh? The others were granted to come closer to get a better view. They were most definitely surprised. The man took his cane and tapped it on the ground. A glowing ring appeared and surrounded the girl. She tried to move, or at least get up, but unfortunately, she could not. It had bounded her to the ground. “Well then so far so good, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Vincent and I have come to take this filth away” the man known as Vincent said. “Vincent? Sounds very old” said Jack. “I know you are confused, but I can assure you that I did not kill the girl known as Kanh” said Vincent. Okay if he didn’t kill her, what happened to her body?! He has a lot to explain. “This here, uhhh thing is No Name, a thing that has no name.” said Vincent. “Hehehehehe, there is not much to think about what is going on” spoke No Name Very strange. No Name started struggling to move but then eventually did. The glowing ring was then dispersed. No Name grabbed something right behind her back and had an umbrella. She opened her umbrella and flew off into the sky. Vincent looked pretty angry. No Name then faded, like a ghost would disappear. Her last word before her mouth disappeared were, “I’ll meet you soon enough, oh and sweet dreams, if possible” she smirked. Then her mouth disappeared. Vincent looked extremely angry but did have a bit of frustration. “The nightmare has just begun” he says.
Chapter 5-The Past Century= After No Name disappeared, Vincent tried to calm down. He sighed and turned towards Darcy and the others. “I understand that you are a bit confused, but I will explain” Vincent said “Okay then, spill the beans” said Lizzy “For one thing, you are in The Nightmare World” Vincent said. “The Nightmare World? I don’t get it” Lizzy said. “The Nightmare World, the one place where fear itself can be born.” Vincent said. There was a silent moment, until Darcy started to speak. “Is this a joke? Sounds like some kind of fairytale.” “This is no joke, at the moment, you could possibly die in this place” said Vincent. Darcy’s heart skipped a beat once he mentioned about death. Death, it reminds her of the one thing she did not want to lose in her life. “So wait, you’re saying that we are all going to get killed?!” yelled Steve. “I said possibly, which is why I am here to help you” said Vincent. “The girl, No Name, created this world to have nightmares & fears to be born.” “I see.” said Darcy “For the past 115 years, I have been trapped in this world by No Name. Oh and the reason why I said over a century, is because this world alters time. But at the moment, time in your world is extremely slow so years here is seconds in your world. “Oh like the movie, The Chronicles of Narnia.” said Jack. “Movie? Oh never mind, I need to capture No Name.” “Well we will help ya!” said Lizzy with a wink. In Darcy’s mine, she knows more information is missing that Vincent is not telling.
Chapter 6- Scream for the Clown= “So we have to travel through this world to find No Name, she is stuck at the moment since I bounded her into this world.” said Vincent. “Alright, but will we get back to our own world?” asked Steve. “Well I think it is po-”Vincent was cut in. A hand wearing a white glove appeared from the ground and grabbed his ankle. The ground intact, the hand just popped out of nowhere. Then something was coming out of the ground. Then Lizzy screamed. Why? Because her fear, is here. A figure comes out and it was a clown. But instead of that happy smile, it had a sinister smile with shark-like teeth and had a more demonic look. Then more clowns start to appear from the ground, all with the same look on their face, smiling evilly. They started laughing and surrounded the group. Vincent held his cane and unsheathes it and out came a sword. He slashed through the clowns and cut in right below the waist line. While the body parts were on the ground, they reattached themselves. “Get out of here now!” yelled Vincent. The others did what he said and ran off. Jack and Steve, however, looked back and know that Vincent needed help. They both turn back and help him out. The girls stayed back, frightened. Jack and Steve had no weapons but used punches and kicks. The clowns were like liquid once they got into impact. Darcy asks Lizzy why clowns were her fear. Lizzy says that clowns creep her out and just dislikes its smile that never goes away, forever. Darcy convinces to Lizzy that she has to get rid of her fear. After all this is the Nightmare World, where fear can be born. Darcy shakes Lizzy, trying to get her to snap out of her fear. Lizzy had a surprised look for some reason. Lizzy looks to the ground and a sword appears. She grabs it slowly and ran towards the clowns. She screams and had her eyes shut. She slashed the sword repeatedly and cut through the clowns. This time, the clowns didn’t reattach themselves. So, looks like to beat fear, is to face the fear. Some of the clowns that were in one piece backed off. The smirked and sink down to the ground, like a ghost would do. Lizzy drops the sword and fell to her knees. Darcy quickly came back and was happy that Lizzy managed to face her fear. Well not exactly. She was shivering that she went to close contact. Steve helped Vincent up and Jack with Lizzy. Vincent had a little dirt on him and panted. He managed to catch his breath and was able to speak. He began to speak to the others, “Thank you.”
Chapter 7- Chat at the Rooftop= Vincent gladly thanked Lizzy and the others for helping out. However he didn’t want them to get involved. At the moment, the group was getting tired and needed some rest, Vincent then leads them somewhere. They found a huge dollhouse. It wasn’t exactly in one piece, but it was still standing. Vincent takes them inside and everyone took a nap. As for Vincent, he went up the roof to watch out for the group. Back with No Name, she is sitting on a throne, or so it looks. She had a very long, blue dress this time. She held a small mirror in front of her face. In view was Vincent, sitting on the roof, staring out into far distances. She had a smirk on her face and held something in her other hand.” This is boring, needs a little more excitement” she says. In her hand was a doll that looked like Vincent. Although it had a grayish, dull color and had some stitches. Even so, she is up to something. Back with Vincent, he has yet to change position and such. Darcy appeared from a door below and spots Vincent. She went towards Vincent and sat beside him. His hair had covered his face and he was in silence. Darcy tried to make a conversation with him. He eventually tells Darcy about his life 115 years ago. He was from the United Kingdom and was part of an organization that used to be currently studying about fear being alive. Then Darcy asks him, “What will you do after you capture No Name?” Vincent chuckled and said “I’ve been asking myself that question, but didn’t answer it.” Darcy gets a small smile on her face and tells Vincent that he will find the answer. Darcy then pats him on the back. He felt very light. He fell backwards, lying on the roof. Darcy got a full view of his face. His face looked like a puppet, but with a very sinister face.
Chapter 8- Time for the Puppet Show!= Darcy screams in terror by Vincent’s new scary face. Vincent lunges onto Darcy, pinning her to the ground, choking her. Darcy keeps struggling and made lots of bangs on the roof. Just enough noise to cause Steve to wake up. Steve checks up on the roof to see what was going on. Once he saw Vincent attacking Darcy, he pushes Vincent off of Darcy. Once Vincent fell onto the surface, Darcy and Steve notice something. Strings were attached to its joints and the strings were shown, dangling up in the air. Above, there were large hands, holding Vincent, floating in mid-air. Vincent looked unconscious and a chattering noise was heard, the possible puppet of Vincent got up with its head tilted to its shoulder. It takes a large dagger from its pocket and charges towards Darcy and Steve. Darcy and Steve try to avoid by its fast moving pace, until they get cornered. As the puppet went towards them, Lizzy comes out from behind and strangles the puppet. The puppet attempted to get Lizzy off of its back. After a while, Lizzy manages to pin the puppet down. A thought occurred to Darcy. She grabbed the dagger the puppet had and cut all of its strings. Above, the hands started to twitch and then faded away. The puppet made a chattering noise with its teeth and became dust, but with sparkles added to it. As the hands disappeared, Vincent fell. However, he seemed to float at the same time, softly. He lands on top of the roof, put as if gravity came back, he rolled down. Steve rushed to Vincent, before he could fall off. Just as Vincent was at the edge, Steve grabbed his hand. Vincent was dangling off the roof, still unconscious. Steve pulls him up and takes him inside the dollhouse. Back with No Name, she is still sitting on her throne, holding the Vincent doll. This time, its hands looked like they were ripped apart. She merely smirks and places the doll up to her face. Meanwhile, Vincent is beginning to wake up from bed. Steve had taken Vincent back inside the dollhouse to make him more comfy. Darcy was about to explain what had happened, but Vincent interrupts her and tells her that he has seen it all, from the puppet’s point of view. Jack suddenly comes in, yawning and stretching his arms out. He notices the group, gathering around Vincent. He asks, “What’s going on here?” “No Name strikes again, this time with a puppet.” answered Lizzy. Right after Lizzy said the word, puppet, Jack shivered and spoke out. “Pu…puppet?” he said. He then stood still, not speaking another word. “Hey are you okay, Jack?” asked Darcy. He didn’t reply. “Hey why are you fossilizing?” asked Steve. Steve took grab of Jack’s shoulders and shook him. Jack didn’t respond until Steve softly slapped him in the cheeks. Jack finally spoke up and tells the others that he is afraid of puppets. The others question why puppets? Well Jack simply says that puppets creep him out. Puppets were Jack’s fear.
Chapter 9- The Heart of all Nightmares= Vincent knows that No Name is not going to stop, only because she needed more entertainment. His main goal now, is to get to the Hearts of the Nightmare World. The heart, possibly the most dangerous place in the Nightmare World itself. But how will he and the others get there? Simple, a portal that needs some extra helpers. Vincent explains a way to make the portal. He was unable to make the portal before, due to the fact that three people are needed to cast it, and his former partners who came with him to the Nightmare World had gone missing during the journey. He managed to catch his breath and was able to speak. He began to speak to the others, “Thank you.”
Chapter 7- Chat at the Rooftop= Vincent gladly thanked Lizzy and the others for helping out. However he didn’t want them to get involved. At the moment, the group was getting tired and needed some rest, Vincent then leads them somewhere. They found a huge dollhouse. It wasn’t exactly in one piece, but it was still standing. Vincent takes them inside and everyone took a nap. As for Vincent, he went up the roof to watch out for the group. Back with No Name, she is sitting on a throne, or so it looks. She had a very long, blue dress this time. She held a small mirror in front of her face. In view was Vincent, sitting on the roof, staring out into far distances. She had a smirk on her face and held something in her other hand.” This is boring, needs a little more excitement” she says. In her hand was a doll that looked like Vincent. Although it had a grayish, dull color and had some stitches. Even so, she is up to something. Back with Vincent, he has yet to change position and such. Darcy appeared from a door below and spots Vincent. She went towards Vincent and sat beside him. His hair had covered his face and he was in silence. Darcy tried to make a conversation with him. He eventually tells Darcy about his life 115 years ago. He was from the United Kingdom and was part of an organization that used to be currently studying about fear being alive. Then Darcy asks him, “What will you do after you capture No Name?” Vincent chuckled and said “I’ve been asking myself that question, but didn’t answer it.” Darcy gets a small smile on her face and tells Vincent that he will find the answer. Darcy then pats him on the back. He felt very light. He fell backwards, lying on the roof. Darcy got a full view of his face. His face looked like a puppet, but with a very sinister face.
Chapter 8- Time for the Puppet Show!= Darcy screams in terror by Vincent’s new scary face. Vincent lunges onto Darcy, pinning her to the ground, choking her. Darcy keeps struggling and made lots of bangs on the roof. Just enough noise to cause Steve to wake up. Steve checks up on the roof to see what was going on. Once he saw Vincent attacking Darcy, he pushes Vincent off of Darcy. Once Vincent fell onto the surface, Darcy and Steve notice something. Strings were attached to its joints and the strings were shown, dangling up in the air. Above, there were large hands, holding Vincent, floating in mid-air. Vincent looked unconscious and a chattering noise was heard, the possible puppet of Vincent got up with its head tilted to its shoulder. It takes a large dagger from its pocket and charges towards Darcy and Steve. Darcy and Steve try to avoid by its fast moving pace, until they get cornered. As the puppet went towards them, Lizzy comes out from behind and strangles the puppet. The puppet attempted to get Lizzy off of its back. After a while, Lizzy manages to pin the puppet down. A thought occurred to Darcy. She grabbed the dagger the puppet had and cut all of its strings. Above, the hands started to twitch and then faded away. The puppet made a chattering noise with its teeth and became dust, but with sparkles added to it. As the hands disappeared, Vincent fell. However, he seemed to float at the same time, softly. He lands on top of the roof, put as if gravity came back, he rolled down. Steve rushed to Vincent, before he could fall off. Just as Vincent was at the edge, Steve grabbed his hand. Vincent was dangling off the roof, still unconscious. Steve pulls him up and takes him inside the dollhouse. Back with No Name, she is still sitting on her throne, holding the Vincent doll. This time, its hands looked like they were ripped apart. She merely smirks and places the doll up to her face. Meanwhile, Vincent is beginning to wake up from bed. Steve had taken Vincent back inside the dollhouse to make him more comfy. Darcy was about to explain what had happened, but Vincent interrupts her and tells her that he has seen it all, from the puppet’s point of view. Jack suddenly comes in, yawning and stretching his arms out. He notices the group, gathering around Vincent. He asks, “What’s going on here?” “No Name strikes again, this time with a puppet.” answered Lizzy. Right after Lizzy said the word, puppet, Jack shivered and spoke out. “Pu…puppet?” he said. He then stood still, not speaking another word. “Hey are you okay, Jack?” asked Darcy. He didn’t reply. “Hey why are you fossilizing?” asked Steve. Steve took grab of Jack’s shoulders and shook him. Jack didn’t respond until Steve softly slapped him in the cheeks. Jack finally spoke up and tells the others that he is afraid of puppets. The others question why puppets? Well Jack simply says that puppets creep him out. Puppets were Jack’s fear.
Chapter 9- The Heart of all Nightmares= Vincent knows that No Name is not going to stop, only because she needed more entertainment. His main goal now, is to get to the Hearts of the Nightmare World. The heart, possibly the most dangerous place in the Nightmare World itself. But how will he and the others get there? Simple, a portal that needs some extra helpers. Vincent explains a way to make the portal. He was unable to make the portal before, due to the fact that three people are needed to cast it, and his former partners who came with him to the Nightmare World had gone missing during the journey.
