The ticket
"All passengers to India on the air India flight please be ready to board" A monotonous voice was ringing through the airport. Mandy and her parents had to board that plane, but Mandy's family was in a big crisis. "I need one more ticket." Mandy's father asked the lady at the counter once more. "I am sorry sir but no seat is available." BANG! Mandy's father was banging his fist to the counter. "no seat ...no seat" He said slowly letting himself fully digest it. "Shirley, how did we loose one ticket!!" "honey calm down. Please" Shirley (Mandy's mother) said pulling him away from the counter. "We'll take the next flight." "We won't reach my meeting in time. The meeting is important", he said clearly irritated. Mandy was sitting with the luggage away from her parents, still thinking about her doll. Finally her parents came up to her and told her what happened and that they would take the next flight.
After what seemed like infinity, they reached home at last, and in time for the father's meeting. Mandy went straight to her room ignoring her mother pleas for her to go to the bath. She was very tired. When she opened the door, she felt very comfortable and a feeling of warmth ran up her as she looked at her lovable room. Her toys were lying around and the posters on her wall were very welcoming. But when she went to pick up he ball, she saw something extraordinary. It was glowing beautifully in pink .... And it looked really familiar. The bluish eyes stared at Mandy, who was totally stunned. "Vicky she shouted out groping forward to hug it. As she put her hands around the three foot alien it turned back into the doll that Mandy was thinking about all day. "Vicky" she said again lovingly to the cute doll in her little hands. Next to where the alien was standing, was a note. Mandy picked it up. It read- "Dear Mandy, I love you. Do you think I will ever leave you?
P.S.- The Amazon was sooo cold. I couldn't manage the climate. So I took your ticket and boarded a plane back home. I didn't cause any trouble, did I?" A wide smile spread across Mandy's face
